Restaurant “Caniço”
Directly below the cliffs are sheltered sandy coves that are accessed by Prainha guests using the private elevator or the stairs. Attractively built into the cliff above the main beach is the "Caniço" Beach Bar and Restaurant. In harmony with its location it specializes in locally caught fresh fish, shellfish and charcoal grills, either for lunch or for a romantic dinner.

Snack-Bar “Piscina”
Integrated in what is acclaimed as one of the most beautiful swimming pools in Portugal, The Portuguese architect Gonçalo Ribeiro Teles, together with the not less famous interior designer Maria José Salavisa designed the pool.
Our Snack-Bar "Piscina" provides all the convenience of a light meal whilst enjoying the quiet and serene atmosphere that surrounds our seawater pool.
Open from 10:00 a.m. until late afternoon. The pool area has been artistically conceived so that it is cleverly hidden, yet it sits directly on the cliff-top with breathtaking views over the sea.
Restaurant “Prainha Clube”
Situated in Prainha Clube and named after it, this is the restaurant where breakfast, half-board and full board is served. It also has an à la carte menu with a wide range of choices and a quality service.
For snacks, clients can enjoy a wide terrace with a pleasant view over the swimming-pool and gardens.

For those who prefer self-catering as well as the daily needs of guests, there is a well-supplied super-market in our Holiday Complex. Daily fresh bread, fresh fruit, national and international newspapers, magazines, as well as a tobacconist are just some of the many items available..

It is available 3 tennis court, 1 football court. The rentals of those courts are per hour and can be done through the reception. Rackets and balls also available.

Indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish Bath, Scottish Shower, massage, various beauty treatments and gym.
The Indoor saltwater pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and the gymnasium incorporate the Thalgo Prainha Center and are an additional option of rest and relaxation.

Idyllic Algarve Villa

We stayed in possibly the best Villa in Alvor this year. Prainha is very special to us but our villa made our holiday truly perfect. The location is amazing, most breathtaking views. The villa is in perfect condition with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms , spacious excellently equipped kitchen and utility as well as spacious internal and external living areas (a roof terrace AND a beautiful patio looking out to sea) and excellent quality amenities throughout. The host was most helpful as were the simplyowners team. We can’t recommend it enough!!

Praihna stay

We stayed in this 3 bedroom villa in Praihna in early June. We had a lovely time notwithstanding the somewhat disappointing weather. The property is well laid out and very comfortable. There were 5 adults and a child in our Perry and we had plenty of room. All of the arrangements worked well.

Dear Maria Yes, we certainly enjoyed our stay ! And I wrote a kind of recommendation to Pedro already. But of course I can write some comments to you as well. The house was just great! It tells a story in every room. The rooms are so lovingly, lively furnished and it is much bigger than it looks on the pictures. The house is really great equipped. The only things we were missing in the kitchen were really sharp knives (but we always bring our own anyway) and maybe a hand mixer, but a whisk worked fine as well. We really liked all the plastic storage boxes so we did not need to take plastic foil all the time. And what is really special compared to all the houses we rented in Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Seychelles, Curaçao etc. is that you have towel hooks in the kitchen. The flooring brought a very nice atmosphere in the house. We really loved the convenient outdoor shower. We were surprised that Vitorina, the very nice housekeeping woman, came after one week to clean the house and change the towels. We weren't expecting this, as this has never happened before no matter where we spent our vacation. It was really luxury. We also loved the terrace and the view. What would be nice would be deckchairs and a grill, but this is complaining on a very high level. The storage room in all the rooms in this house was just great as well. The access route description could have been better. It was not very clear. Especially at last it says that we meet Vitorina at the dental clinic, but there is no sign that the building is a dental clinic….. It was really nice that the beach and all kinds of restaurants were so near. The beach is soooo beautiful with all the rocks and it is great that the «only sand» beach, where no one is, is right next to it (well about 1-2 km away.) And I personally loved the very nice jogging possibilities on the wooden walkways. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. And we are very thankful that Pedro shared this house with us. We never had such a nice, friendly and personal house owner. He made us feel very welcomed. Thanks for the easy handling! Take care and stay healthy! Kind regards from Switzerland Kathrin

FRANKIE M ST, SEP 26, TUE, OCT.06 2020 5/5 Great location. Large villa Fantastic beach on doorstep. literally at bottom of garden. We didn't bother going to any other beaches as this one is as good as it gets. Villa is bigger than it looks Patio doesn't get the sun in the morning so we ate on the roof. 25 mins brisk walk into Alvor along the boardwalk Pool nearby Possibly a bit far out if you want to eat out every night in Alvor centre every night and be close to night life but we had toddlers so wasn't an issue.
