Alvor is a lovely fishing village, cobbled lanes lead to the waterfront which has nice cafes, bars, and restaurants. A spectacular 4 kilometre beach with activities such as paddle boarding, jet-skis and paddle boats for hire. There is a boardwalk adjacent to the beach and through the wetlands of the Alvor river estuary; it is a great place to run, walk, cycle, and enjoy the wildlife. Boat trips are available from the port to Lagos, Alvor estuary, and beyond. Family-friendly activites such as Zoomarine, and Slide and Splash are a short trip away.
