This charming single-storey villa, with pretty plants and climbers at its quaint front entrance, has a bright friendly atmosphere and sea views to die for! The entrance hall has a guest bathroom on the left and then to the right is the bright, compact kitchen with its pristine white units and pretty hand-painted tiles. The attractive lounge has comfortable L-shaped seating, a traditional style semi-circular fireplace and has delightful finishing touches and there is a flat screen TV and a DVD player. The dining area has a circular dining table with seating for four. The built-in BBQ and preparation area is just outside the living area and has stylish patio armchairs with chunky cushions where you can relax and take in the wonderful sea views in comfort and style. Alongside the 2 bedrooms, the main bathroom, has recently been revamped and now has a new shower enclosure, hand basin and toilet. Inside the gates there is ample private parking in the paved area in front of the villa which is surrounded by fragrant shrubs and plants. At the side of the house a pathway with a gate leads to the pool area at the rear. From the large sun-drenched patio and pool area attractive steps lead down to a grassy area bordered by mature shrubs and even a lemon tree! This is a fantastic small villa on a huge well-tended private plot with lots of space to spread out and enjoy getting away from it all. The villa is a true gem and is a wonderful place for a family holiday, or for a couple wanting a really special, private retreat in the sun!
Fly from Dublin, Cork or Shannon to Faro about 1 hours, simple drive to Luz on a Motorway that is nothing like the M50 !
From the UK there is a choice of departure airports to Faro.. Easy jet, BA, Ryanair ..
If you do not wish to drive we can help with Private Transfers from Faro airport to front door (Euro 180 return for 4 persons) or a reasonably priced car hire which gives you the chance to explore.

Luz village has lots of excellent restaurants and shops and a Blue Flag beach where water sports are available. Tennis, horse riding, cycling are just some of the local activities on offer, and the closest golf is at Boa Vista Golf Resort is about 5 minutes drive.
While there is regular bus service to Lagos and Burgau and a bus stop nearby, having a car would also give you the opportunity to explore the amazingly beautiful coastline and the mountains inland.

The place is very well equipped and the beds great. Very cozy and we felt like we were at home. the experience from the start dealing with Bernie was great. Very professional and went above and beyond providing us with very detailed information on Luz as well as side road trips which turned out to be amazing. Clara, caretaker of the rental was amazing. We locked ourselves out the first day and she was there as quick as she could be when she found out... had some trouble with internet and she showed up at the door to see what she could do.
