The large (10m by 5m) pool has a solar cover and can be heated on request. The villa is set in private grounds approached through electric entrance gates along a driveway with parking for several cars. ...comfortably furnished lounge/dining room has a wood burning stove, internet, flat screen TV, satellite receiver (free to air channels), DVD, Hi-Fi system and a large marble table with 8 chairs. Patio doors from the lounge and dining area open to the covered veranda and lead to the pool. The well-equipped kitchen has a range of modern fitted cupboards with granite worktops and everything needed for a self-catering holiday, including dishwasher, electric fan oven, ceramic hob, electric extractor fan, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, etc. A washing machine and tumble drier are located in the garage which is used as a utility area. A feature spiral staircase leads from the downstairs hall to the first floor, with 2 double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom (shower, wc and basin). Patio doors from the first floor landing lead to a sun terrace and steps to the pool. The downstairs hall also leads to two further bedrooms with twin beds and a family bathroom. A child’s bed or travel cot are available on request. Our local agent is based in Praia da Luz and will be on hand should you require any assistance during your stay. Praia da Luz is just a few minutes away with a range of shops, restaurants, sandy beach and paved promenade. The seafaring historic walled town of Lagos with its narrow cobbled streets, pavement restaurants, antique shops and boutiques is a 10 minute drive and has all amenities, including supermarkets, an attractive marina and a pleasant palm shaded walk by the river. The traditional fishing villages of Salema and Burgau are also a short drive away while some of the Algarve’s best beaches and most dramatic coastline can be explored on the west coast. Championship golf courses at Boavista, Santo Antonio and Espiche are also close by with all championship golf courses a comfortable drive away. Faro airport is a one hour drive.
The villa was even better in real life than the photos showed. It is well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful holiday and can’t wait to go back.
The villa was ideal for our family. We all enjoyed relaxing by the pool though the kids seemed to spend most of the holiday in it. It’s in a great position, only a short drive to Lagos and literally on the door-step of the national park.
This is our third holiday at Casa Sonhos and we love it.

Saturday changeovers preferred (other days acceptable by arrangement, especially to fit with other occupancy). Arrival after 14:00 hours and departure before 10:00 hours.
High chair and cot (travel cot) available on request (no extra charge). You will need to bring your own linen for the cot.
Bed linen, hand and bath towels provided; you will need to bring your own beach/pool towels.
When we receive your booking request we will send you a booking form which must be completed and returned with a 20% deposit to confirm your booking. The booking form and the terms and conditions it includes will be the basis of the rental contract between us. The person making the booking must be a member of the party staying at the villa and everyone that will stay at the villa must be included on the booking form.
The balance of your payment plus a security deposit of 350 EUR (against breakages, etc) is due 6 weeks before the start of your rental. The security deposit is normally returned within a week of the end of your rental when the villa is left in good order.
After confirmation of your booking any cancellation must be advised to us in writing and a cancellation charge will apply; for cancellation more than 6 weeks before the start of your rental the cancellation charge will be equal to the booking deposit; cancellations are not allowed within 6 weeks of the start of your rental and the full rental charge will be due.
