A 1st floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on the upper level of Monte Dourado, close to the centre of Carvoeiro, complete with dishwasher, cooker, micowave, satellite tv, washing machine and maid service 5 days per week. The apartment is spacious with 950 sq feet of accommodation. There are views of Carvoeiro from the terrace. One of the 5 communal pools (with a separate children's pool) is in front (left) of the apartment. In addition, there are 2 tennis courts on site plus a reception for the Monte Dourado complex. Beautiful Carvoeiro beach is only a few minutes walk, as are a large a selection of restaurants, shops, bars and a children's playground. Carvoeiro is a typical Portuguese fishing village with lots of character.
There is a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants, banks (with ATM cash machines), a post office and an internet cafe all within walking distance of the Monte Dourado apartments, Casa Encantada, Casa Oleander and Casa Miljonair.
There are 2 water parks, Slide and Splash and Aqualand, and Zoomarine theme park within 20 minutes drive of the apartment, and excursions to these any many other attractions can be arranged locally.
There are 2 golf courses, Gramacho and Pinta, 10 minutes drive from the apartment, and a 9-hole pitch and putt, Vale do Milho, in Carvoeiro itself. Championship courses at Penina, Vilamoura and Vale de Lobo are within a 30 minute drive.
Car hire is available from Faro airport and cars can be collected at the airport or delivered to your accommodation. Please ask for a quotation. Carvoeiro is a straightforward 45 minute drive from the airport.
Taxis can be pre-booked and will cost approximately 60 euros each way for 1-4 people and 80 euros each way for 5-8 people.
